Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all volunteers, sewadars, teachers, committee members, and anyone associated with the Gurudwara who comes into contact with children through religious, educational, or social programs.

- Respect and Dignity: All children are treated with equal respect, regardless of age, gender, ability, background, or belief.
- Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, bullying, or neglect will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Guidelines for Volunteers and Staff
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid being alone with a child in an unsupervised setting.
- Refrain from inappropriate physical contact, harsh language, or any behavior that may cause discomfort to a child.
- Obtain parental consent before taking photos or videos of children during Gurudwara events.
- Immediately report any suspicion or disclosure of child abuse to the Gurudwara management committee.
Supervision and Consent
- Children participating in camps, classes, or events must be under the supervision of authorized adults.
- Parental/guardian consent is required for participation in any activity or event conducted by the Gurudwara.
Digital Protection
- Children’s personal information will not be collected or shared without parental approval.
- Online communication involving children must be conducted respectfully and with transparency.
